Job summary

IAG in Australia is seeking a Claims Operations Support to turn data into meaningful insights and drive operational excellence across PRI and Liability Claims. You will partner with leaders to deliver performance reporting, dashboards and process improvements, helping the team make informed decisions for better customer outcomes.

The role is permanent and full-time, based in Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane).

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, operational delivery or data-driven environments.
• Strong analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills to translate data into insights.
• Experience collecting, analysing and reporting operational performance data to inform decisions.
• Familiarity with claims workflows and telephony performance metrics.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills.
• Confident written and verbal communication with ability to present insights clearly.
• Claims experience is highly regarded, transferable experience in operations, analytics or financial services encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver performance reporting and insights to support priorities and decision making.
• Analyse claims and telephony performance data to identify trends and improvement actions.
• Create dashboards and reporting tools providing timely, actionable insights to leaders.
• Lead and support projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and outcomes.
• Partner with claims leaders and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and evidence-based decisions.
• Contribute to automation and AI-enabled initiatives to simplify reporting and optimise processes.
• Support governance, controls and process documentation for day-to-day operations.
• Promote risk management practices and embed a strong risk culture across the team.
