Job summary
SS&C Technologies is seeking a seasoned Citrix Ops Engineer to manage and optimize our Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environment, including DaaS, NetScaler, and Gateway services. The role requires deep troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced IT team.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Citrix experience, strong Windows Server and AD knowledge, and hands-on virtualization expertise with VMware or Hyper-V.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- 8+ years of Citrix design/implementation/maintenance experience.
- Strong Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and DaaS knowledge.
- Experience with NetScaler and Cloud Gateway.
- Solid Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge.
- VMware or Hyper-V virtualization experience.
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Responsibilities
- Manage Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments to ensure high availability.
- Support, configure, and maintain Citrix Gateway services and NetScalers.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and ensure recurrence prevention.
- Collaborate with IT support to resolve problems and improve reliability.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and security best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the Citrix environment.
- Create and maintain detailed Citrix environment documentation.
