Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions in a fully remote infrastructure team. You will automate provisioning, optimize performance, and secure environments while collaborating with development and operations to evolve cloud strategy.

Ideal candidates have hands-on AWS experience across EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda and VPC, strong scripting skills, and a passion for automation, IaC, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or Solutions Architect with AWS focus.
• Hands-on AWS services across compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
• Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance with monitoring and optimization.
• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with software teams to architect cloud-native solutions.
