Job summary

Perth Tax & Accounting Co (PTACO) seeks two motivated Assistant Accountants to join our team remotely from Bangladesh, assisting with bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, payroll, and client files under the guidance of Australian accountants.

This role offers full training and exposure to Australian accounting and taxation standards, with potential opportunities to work from our head office in Perth in the future.

Qualifications

• Two motivated Assistant Accountants to join our team remotely from Bangladesh.
• Experience with basic bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, and client file preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bank reconciliations and bookkeeping.
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Payroll and superannuation administration.
• Preparation of working papers and client files.
• Assisting with BAS, IAS, and tax return preparation.
• Data entry and financial reporting.
• Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks file maintenance.
• Assisting senior accountants with client compliance work.
• Prepare financial reports for company, trust, SMSF and partnership entities.
• Australian income tax knowledge will be highly regarded.
