Job summary

Secure IQ Services seeks an Accountant to manage bookkeeping, reporting and compliance for Australian SME clients. You will handle 6-8 client portfolios with monthly reconciliations, BAS, payroll and year-end accounts, plus client communication and advisory support.

Working remotely, you’ll prepare management reports, perform financial analysis, and assist senior accountants with tax planning while pursuing CA/CPA progression. Flexible, supportive culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of practical accounting experience in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax law, BAS and superannuation.
• Experience using Xero, MYOB; QuickBooks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare BAS, payroll processing and year-end accounts.
• Generate management reports and financial analysis.
• Assist with compliance and ATO obligations.
• Support senior accountants with tax planning and advisory work.
