Job summary

Randstad is seeking APS6 level Support Needs Assessors for a nationwide, hybrid/remote role with occasional local NDIS office visits. The position involves conducting semi-structured interviews, reviewing files, and producing strengths-based assessment reports for NDIS participants.

Applicants should hold an Allied Health qualification or Nursing, with experience in person-centred assessment and strong communication. Training and flexible arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified allied health professional with a tertiary degree in a relevant field.
• Nursing qualification (RN/EN) also acceptable.
• Education or NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner are eligible options.
• Recent assessment experience may be considered even if still studying.

Responsibilities

• Conduct semi-structured interviews to complete support needs assessments with NDIS participants.
• Review participant files and conduct virtual or face-to-face assessments.
• Write high-quality, strengths-based reports detailing life circumstances and needs.
• Role focuses on assessment and reporting, not funding or service hour determinations.
