Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to serve as an AI Trainer — designing complex engineering problems spanning FEA, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics to guide AI learning.

You'll author ground-truth solutions, audit AI reasoning for accuracy and safety, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance. This fully remote, hourly contract offers 10–40 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace or related field.
• Strong domain knowledge in solid/fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, CAD/CAM.
• Able to translate complex phenomena into clear explanations.

Responsibilities

• Design complex engineering problems spanning FEA, heat transfer, and related domains.
• Author ground-truth, step-by-step solutions for AI benchmarks.
• Audit AI reasoning for accuracy, safety, and standards compliance (ASME/ISO).
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
