This remote, hourly-contract role offers 10–40 hours per week, with opportunities for ongoing projects. You will collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to advance model performance and ensure rigor across deliverables.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Master’s or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a leading university.
• Proven track record in research — publications, complex project work, or advanced technical problem-solving.
• Exceptionally clear written and verbal communicator with a sharp eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, solve, and review advanced, multi-disciplinary problems with real-world relevance that challenge and sharpen AI reasoning.
• Apply your research expertise to design complex, nuanced problem statements that expose the limits of current AI models.
