Job summary

Intelligen is seeking an AI Governance Lead to help clients establish governance foundations for safe, responsible, scalable AI. You will partner with business and tech teams to design governance models, risk controls and decision pathways, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations.

You will lead workshops, produce governance artefacts, and guide solution design with architects and AI specialists. A strong consulting and stakeholder skillset is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in AI governance, data governance, technology risk, responsible AI, model risk or related governance disciplines.
• 3+ years' experience across AI, analytics, automation, digital transformation or emerging tech initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience assessing AI, data or tech initiatives for governance, risk, value and readiness.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, data governance and regulatory expectations.
• Experience working across business, tech, data, security, risk and compliance stakeholders.
• Ability to apply governance pragmatically, balancing innovation, delivery speed and risk management.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, with practical business-language communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to establish practical AI governance frameworks and operating models.
• Assess AI use cases for governance, privacy, security, ethical and regulatory considerations.
• Develop responsible AI principles, governance guardrails and risk assessment approaches.
• Work with architects and AI specialists to embed governance into solution design and delivery.
• Provide guidance on AI risk, model governance, data governance and compliance considerations.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions on responsible AI practices.
• Develop governance artefacts such as frameworks, decision pathways, risk assessments and operating model docs.
• Help organisations balance innovation with governance and controls.
• Support scalable AI governance capabilities that can mature over time.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership and growth of Intelligen's AI & Governance practice.
