Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting an AI Ethics and Governance Lead to join a forward‑looking AI & Emerging Technologies team. This fully remote position focuses on building robust governance, policies, and best practices to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI development and deployment.

The role requires an advanced degree and proven experience in AI ethics, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in a relevant field (Law, Ethics, Computer Science, Public Policy, or related discipline).
Demonstrated experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance.
In-depth understanding of AI technologies, their societal implications, and associated ethical challenges.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and enforce AI ethics policies and governance frameworks.
Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for AI systems and products.
Provide guidance and training to cross-functional teams on ethical AI principles and responsible innovation.
Monitor evolving AI regulations, industry standards, and best practices globally.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure adherence to ethical guidelines.
Establish mechanisms for accountability and transparency in AI development and deployment.
