Job summary

nbn is seeking a Principal, Responsible AI to lead the development and governance of our enterprise Responsible AI strategy across the organisation, partnering with senior leaders to enable safe, fair and valuable AI for customers and communities.

In this role you will chair the AI Risk Council, oversee governance processes and controls, address regulatory obligations, and translate enterprise frameworks into practical, responsible practices across teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in governance, compliance, risk, legal, regulatory or security environments.
• Strong knowledge of Responsible AI, AI ethics and relevant laws and policy.
• Experience designing and implementing complex governance frameworks or enterprise-wide programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evolution of enterprise-wide Responsible AI strategy, roadmap and governance.
• Chair AI Risk Council and engage with stakeholders.
• Translate enterprise frameworks into practical, responsible ways of working.
