Placements24 seeks an AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will develop frameworks, policies, and governance practices to ensure responsible AI deployment across the organization, collaborating with multiple departments to embed ethics into the AI lifecycle.

The role focuses on mitigating risks and building trust in AI technologies. Ideal candidates have a background in AI ethics and governance, with strong analytical and policy-writing abilities, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, CS or related field.
• Proven experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and societal implications.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and policy-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with colleagues.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI ethics guidelines, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments for new AI projects and technologies.
• Advise development teams on fairness, accountability, transparency, and safety in AI.
• Monitor AI systems for potential ethical breaches and biases.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on AI ethics and governance matters.
