Job summary

Monarch Institute is an Australian Registered Training Organisation specialising in flexible online education. We are seeking an Accounting Trainer & Assessor to support students completing national accounting qualifications, assessing their work and providing feedback to help them progress.

You will work remotely, manage your workload across systems, and collaborate with an experienced team to ensure high-quality assessment practices and ongoing improvements across courses.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting knowledge and relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with BAS and GST payroll processes.
• Proficiency with Xero and other computerised accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess student work and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Support students by phone, email or video, guiding questions and areas of difficulty.
• Participate in validation and moderation to improve courses and assessments.
• Contribute to learning resources and enable continuous improvement activities.
• Work independently with good time management in an online delivery environment.
