Job summary

Findex seeks a seasoned accounting leader to join as Manager in our Virtual Operations A&T Pool. This is a fully remote opportunity based in New Zealand, reporting to the Virtual A&T Pool Lead and owning the day-to-day running of a high-performing virtual team delivering compliance work across NZ offices.

You will drive quality, develop people, and manage workflow across onshore and offshore teams, building strong relationships with office stakeholders and guiding resolution of complex issues.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in accounting or compliance with leadership experience.
• Proven track record managing virtual or multi-site teams.
• Advanced knowledge of tax and accounting standards relevant to compliance delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across geographically dispersed teams.
• CA or CPA qualification and CPD hours current.

Responsibilities

• Operational oversight: manage and coordinate workflow across multiple office portfolios.
• Quality assurance: perform advanced review of compliance work and drive QA frameworks.
• Team leadership: lead, coach and develop Assistant Managers, Senior Accountants, and Accountants.
