Job summary

Viscount Reuse is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting the accounting, reporting and financial control activities for our AU and NZ Pooling businesses.

You will work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and a broad range of internal stakeholders, while pursuing CA/CPA qualifications and expanding technical and commercial finance capabilities. Strong Excel and ERP experience, including SAP, is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CA/CPA qualification or plan to commence.
• Practical accounting experience in a commercial, multi-entity environment.
• Exposure to month-end activities (journals, accruals, reporting).
• Developing analytical skills to investigate variances and communicate findings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective collaboration with Finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Intermediate Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end and year-end accounting activities for AU and NZ Pooling, including journals and reconciliations.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate items with Finance and SSC.
• Support statutory, tax and compliance activities, including BAS and year-end audit requests.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reviews through data analysis.
• Provide accounting support across revenue, costs, assets, working capital and intercompany transactions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and strengthen controls.
• Support ad hoc analysis, projects and information requests within Finance.
