Job summary

Amalgamated Property Maintenance – Surfers Paradise QLD is expanding its Gold Coast team with remedial technicians and Labourers for commercial painting, building refurbishment, and maintenance projects.

Casual positions currently available with a path to full-time for the right candidate. You will work on commercial buildings, apartments and large-scale remedial projects, learning concrete repairs, waterproofing, coatings, and other building repairs from experienced teams.

Qualifications

• Reliable and turns up ready to work.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Hands-on and mechanically minded.
• Willing to learn new skills.
• Safety-focused and able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Has a White Card.
• Has a current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Previous construction, painting, rendering, concreting or maintenance experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Concrete repairs and crack repairs.
• Concrete spalling repairs.
• Waterproofing and membrane applications.
• Grinding, preparation and surface repairs.
• Caulking and sealant works.
• High-pressure cleaning and surface preparation.
• Assisting with remedial and painting works.
• Using hand and power tools.
• Working from EWP, scaffolding and other access equipment.
• General construction labouring and site clean-up.
• Working alongside experienced remedial technicians and supervisors.

We currently have casual positions available with the Gold Coast team. Full-time opportunity for the right candidate. You will work on commercial buildings, apartments and large-scale remedial projects, learning practical skills across concrete repairs, expansion joint repairs, waterproofing, coatings, patching and other building repairs.
