Job summary

MAX Build is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Class 2 remedial projects across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will manage programme, budget, quality and safety, while coordinating site teams, subcontractors and consultants on occupied residential buildings.

With strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to risk management, you will ensure high-quality outcomes and effective communication with strata managers, owners’ corporations and residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience delivering remedial works on Class 2 residential buildings, ideally in Queensland.
• Strong technical knowledge of remedial construction, including concrete repairs, waterproofing, façade remediation and building defect rectification.
• Proven ability to manage projects from commencement through to handover, balancing programme, cost, quality and safety requirements.
• Experience leading site teams and managing subcontractor performance, procurement and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programme, budget, quality and safety from project initiation to completion.
• Lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and manage procurement and reporting.
• Manage variations, progress claims, extensions of time and contractual notices.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, strata managers, owners' corporations and residents in occupied buildings.
