JRG Recruitment is seeking a Contract Administrator with remedial building expertise to join a Tier 1 remedial contractor servicing NSW and QLD. You will manage contract administration for multiple remedial and recladding projects, focusing on risk, cost control and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Contract Administrator role, ideally within remedial or façade/cladding projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong working knowledge of contract law, drafting contracts (not just using templates), updating contractor scopes to contracts, negotiation, and change order processes.
• Proven ability to manage commercial documentation, claims, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Managing contract administration across 3-5 concurrent projects - Remedial building is much different to new build, you are dealing with much less subcontractors, this is why you can work across several projects.
• Reviewing head contracts and subcontracts, identifying risks and compliance issues
• Assessing contractor financial performance and ensuring cost control
• Managing and processing variations, progress claims, and EOTs
• Ensuring compliance with the Security of Payments Act and project-specific contract obligations
• Undertaking pricing analysis and supporting accurate budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing and certifying subcontractor payments
