Job summary

Clancy Catholic College West Hoxton is offering a full-time, permanent Religious Education / PDHPE teaching role within Sydney Catholic Schools. You will lead student-centred learning in a Catholic environment, delivering a rich PDHPE and RE program and collaborating with a strong leadership team.

The role requires a tertiary Education qualification and NESA accreditation, with additional RE qualifications viewed favourably.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Religious Education / PDHPE with additional teaching areas advantageous.
• Strong classroom management and student wellbeing focus.
• Ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
• A tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.

Responsibilities

• The successful applicant will join an energetic Religious Education and PDHPE Team focused on quality Catholic education.
• Maximise student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.
• Work collaboratively with the Leadership Team, the Religious Education and PDHPE faculty and middle leaders.
