Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic College, Booragul, seeks a permanent full-time Leader of Learning - Religious Education, starting January 2027. You will lead RE learning across the school, promote high teaching standards, and align curricula with Catholic education principles in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

The role requires experience in Catholic education, a strong understanding of RE curricula, and leadership in professional learning within a school community.

Qualifications

• Four-year trained teacher classification with at least four years successful teaching experience within the Australian system.
• Postgraduate study in Religious Education or Theology.
• NESA Teacher Accreditation.
• Diocesan Accreditation to Teach Religion.
• Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Completion of anaphylaxis training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Religious Education learning across the school.
• Ensure the highest standards of teaching practice and quality learning programs.
• Provide deep understanding of RE curriculum requirements.
• Establish a culture of collaborative and reflective practice.
• Support teachers’ professional learning and leadership development.

Education

Four-year trained teacher classification with at least four years successful teaching experience
