Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic College, Booragul, is seeking a permanent full-time Leader of Learning - Religious Education to commence January 2027. The role focuses on advancing religious learning, leading RE programs, and nurturing student faith development within a Catholic educational context.

The Leader of Learning collaborates with the school leadership team to promote excellence in teaching, learning outcomes, and professional growth, aligned with Catholic standards and NSW policies.

Qualifications

• Four-year trained teacher with at least four years' teaching experience.
• Postgraduate study in Religious Education or Theology.
• NESA Teacher Accreditation.
• Diocesan Accreditation to Teach Religion.
• Current NSW WWCC.
• Completion of anaphylaxis training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standards of teaching practice.
• Lead development and oversight of quality teaching programs and learning outcomes.
• Deep understanding and expertise in Religious Education curriculum requirements.
• Establish a culture of collaborative and reflective practice.
• Support professionals in development and self-efficacy for teaching Religion.
• Know students and provide engaging learning that supports faith development.
