Job summary

St Monica's Catholic Primary School, North Parramatta, is seeking a passionate Religious Education Coordinator to join its team on a permanent full-time basis commencing in 2027. The role sits within Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese's network, guiding RE pedagogy and faith formation across the school community.

You will lead liturgical celebration, collaborate with the Parish, parents and CSPD, ensure a high-quality Catholic education and a safe, inclusive learning environment, and model

Qualifications

• Accreditation to teach Religious Education (Category D)
• Masters in RE/Theology or ED Leadership (with required units)
• Active engagement with current RE pedagogy and curriculum
• Ability to lead and support school faith formation programs

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality contemporary learning and teaching embedded in Catholic worldview
• Collaborate with Parish and CSPD in evangelising mission
• Enhance liturgical, sacramental and spiritual life of the school
• Build relationships with Parish Priest, parents and CSPD to share Catholic education work
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment
