Job summary

Holy Spirit Primary School, Kurri Kurri is seeking a Religious Education Coordinator to join for the 2027 school year, commencing January 2027. This 1.0 FTE role with 0.3 FTE release will work with the Religious Education Team across Kurri and Abermain to promote Catholic culture and mission.

Qualifications

• Practising Catholic actively engaged in a Eucharistic community, committed to the mission and teachings of the Church.
• Strong understanding of the philosophy and theology of Catholic education, grounded in the mission of the Church.
• Demonstrated leadership in Religious Education, including curriculum implementation, contemporary pedagogy, and improving student learning outcomes.
• Demonstrated capacity to strategically plan and lead the Catholic identity of the school as a faith community, nurturing a shared vision and mission.

Responsibilities
