Job summary

Finisar in Sydney is seeking a Reliability Test Engineer to join our engineering team. You will support product qualification, evaluation and development through reliability and functional testing, performing tests hands-on and reporting data to improve test methods and drive product quality.

You will set up and operate test systems, collect data, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and enhance test procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation or related engineering/science.
• 2+ years of work experience in reliability or laboratory testing.
• Hands-on ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reliability and functional tests per defined test plans and procedures.
• Organise test activities, samples, equipment and schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Set up and operate reliability test equipment and laboratory systems.
