Job summary
NES Fircroft is seeking a Reliability Engineer for Mobile Equipment on a 6-month FIFO contract in Australia. You will drive asset reliability, optimise maintenance, and support lifecycle planning for underground mining assets.
Collaboration with maintenance and operations teams will be essential to reduce downtime and improve performance. The role requires a mechanical/electrical/mechatronic background, strong RCA/FMEA experience, and familiarity with SAP PM and BI tools to deliver data-driven
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Experience in mining, heavy industry, resources, or asset-intensive operations.
- Strong understanding of mobile equipment maintenance and reliability engineering.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse fleet reliability, availability, utilisation, and maintenance performance.
- Lead defect elimination initiatives and failure investigations using RCA, FMEA, Weibull, and 5 Whys.
- Develop and optimise maintenance strategies, asset care plans, and preventative maintenance programs.
