Job summary

Glencore's McArthur River Mine Reliability Mechanical Engineer role focuses on improving asset reliability and equipment health. You will steer condition monitoring programs, predictive maintenance, and risk management to maximise plant availability and cost efficiency.

You will lead reliability projects, collaborate with operations, mentor engineers, and ensure safety and environmental standards are upheld in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Engineering or related field.
• Certification in condition monitoring is preferred (VA Cat 1, oil analysis, infrared thermography).
• CMRP or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive asset reliability and equipment health through condition monitoring and risk management.
• Develop and optimise maintenance strategies to improve performance and reduce lifecycle costs.
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives including root cause analysis and defect elimination.
