Emeco Underground is seeking a hands-on Reliability Engineer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Based at our Gunnedah Office, this role involves working closely with operations, engaging with site teams, and shaping the evolution of the reliability function.

You will develop reliability programs, analyse data to drive improvements in maintenance planning, and collaborate across teams to embed a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence.

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in reliability, maintenance, or asset management within mining or heavy equipment.
• Experience with Mobile Mining fleet equipment including CAT, Hitachi, and Liebherr preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work across teams.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and data-driven improvements.
• Passion for safety, quality, and operational excellence.

• Monitor equipment performance, root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in a reliability, maintenance, or asset management role within the mining or heavy equipment sector.
• Experience with Mobile Mining fleet equipment including CAT, Hitachi, and Liebherr preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for improvement.
• A passion for safety, quality, and operational excellence.
