Job summary

Elders in Rockhampton, QLD is seeking an Agri-Finance Relationship Manager to build and manage a portfolio of agricultural and commercial clients, providing tailored finance solutions across property purchases, working capital, machinery and asset finance.

You'll leverage your local network and Elders’ branch and referral network to generate new business, develop long-term client relationships, and submit lending proposals while collaborating across the Elders network.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience managing a lending portfolio within banking, agribusiness finance or commercial finance.
• Strong existing local market network with ability to generate new business.
• Thorough understanding of credit and lending with experience assessing, structuring and preparing loan applications.

About the role:

As an Agri-Finance Relationship Manager, based in Rockhampton, QLD,you’ll build and manage your own portfolio of clients, combining your existing networks and business development capability with the strength and reach of the broader Elders network.

Working closely with primary producers, agribusinesses and commercial clients, you’ll take the time to understand their business and provide tailored finance solutions across areas such as property purchases, working capital, machinery and equipment, expansion and broader commercial lending.

Unlike a traditional banking environment, you won’t be limited to the products of one institution.

In this role, you will:

• Build and grow your own portfolio of agricultural and commercial clients.
• Leverage both your existing network and Elders’ extensive branch and referral network to generate new business.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and become a trusted finance partner to their businesses.
• Structure and submit lending proposals across agricultural, commercial, equipment and asset finance.
• Work closely with Elders branches and the wider business to strengthen referral pathways and identify new opportunities.

What you'll bring:

• A minimum of five years’ experience managing a lending portfolio within banking, agribusiness finance or commercial finance.
• A strong existing network across your local market, with the ability to leverage relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• A thorough understanding of credit and lending, with demonstrated experience assessing, structuring and preparing loan applications.

You’ll be joining a growing national finance team backed by one of Australia’s most recognised agribusiness networks.
