Elders in Esperance is seeking a Financial Services Officer to support customers and colleagues with specialist knowledge in our full suite of financial services. You will train team members, implement annual branch plans, and drive growth through targeted campaigns across deposit, lending, insurance, and other products.

A customer-focused, collaborative approach is essential. Experience in banking or financial services is preferred, with strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder

• Demonstrated experience in administrative functions.
• Experience in agricultural or related industries preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer operations.
• Track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Able to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong organisational abilities and clear communication.
• Experience in a sales-focused environment or within banking and financial services is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Be the branch go-to person for matters associated with all Financial Services Products
• Provide training and product knowledge to other team members regarding the Financial Services product suite
• Develop and implement an annual Branch Financial Services business plan to support yearly growth ambitions
• Implement sales campaigns aimed at identifying client opportunities, across the full suite of Financial Services products
• Grow the Deposit Book: Assist customers directly with their deposit requirements by providing a one-on-one personalised service including: Opening accounts, maintenance, rollovers and general enquiries
• Undertaking and adhering to various procedures as part of the operational functions for deposits
• Ensure 100% compliance with relevant statutory legislation as required in the execution of operational duties (e.g. AML/CTF)
• Assisting customers with Seasonal Finance Products, including: Own balance sheet lending and lending through third party providers, Refer clients for other Financial Services Products, Agri Finance loans, Commercial and Asset Finance, Insurance

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Services Officer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Financial Services Officer, you will play a key role in supporting both customers and colleagues with your specialist knowledge. You will provide ongoing training and guidance to team members, ensuring the entire branch is confident and capable in delivering our full suite of Financial Services solutions.

Responsibilities

• Be the branch go-to person for matters associated with all Financial Services Products
• Provide training and product knowledge to other team members regarding the Financial Services product suite
• Develop and implement an annual Branch Financial Services business plan to support yearly growth ambitions
• Implement sales campaigns aimed at identifying client opportunities, across the full suite of Financial Services products

About you
