Job summary

The AICS Group in Brighton is seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Support Worker to assist a client with brain injury rehab, personal care, and daily living activities in the client’s home. The role involves a mix of day and night shifts and a person‑centred approach.

You’ll collaborate with health and social care professionals to help the client achieve rehabilitation goals, with training provided and DBS enhanced checks required before start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year health and social care experience, specifically in rehabilitation.
• UK Driving Licence to drive the client.
• Experience with moving and handling.
• Rehabilitation experience.
• Understanding of developmental delay and cognitive impairment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to work in the client’s home and collaborate with healthcare professionals daily.
• Ability to take a person-centred approach in care.
• Experience in medication administration, personal care, and manual handling.
• Willingness to learn and take on feedback.
• Ability to think outside the box and creatively support the client’s needs.
• Love for animals.
