Job summary

IPAR Rehabilitation invites applications for a Rehabilitation Consultant in Liverpool, NSW. You will deliver occupational rehabilitation services across workers compensation, CTP and other schemes within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should have tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling and current or eligible registration with AHPRA or ASORC. A NSW driver’s licence and vehicle are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling (degree required).
• General or Provisional registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for ASORC membership.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes with client-centred approach.
• Empathy, resilience and excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Apply clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes.
• Partner with employers and employees on injury prevention and education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct clinical and vocational assessments (initial, workplace, functional capacity, ADL, vocational).
• Identify barriers and design practical recovery solutions.
