Job summary

IPAR, part of the MedHealth network, seeks a Rehabilitation Consultant to join the Orange NSW team. You will deliver occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions, supporting sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

The role offers flexibility, autonomy and collaboration with employers, insurers and healthcare professionals, with opportunities for new graduates and career progression.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
• AHPRA registration or eligibility for ASORC membership.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Apply clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes.
• Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct initial, workplace, and functional capacity assessments.
• Identify barriers and design practical solutions to support recovery and return to work.
