Job summary

Our client in Sydney's Workplace Health & Rehabilitation space is seeking a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join the North Strathfield team. You will proactively manage a caseload of injured workers and support their return to work, with a 50/50 split between clinical work and workplace rehabilitation.

You will liaise with stakeholders, attend case conferences, provide vocational assessments and counselling, and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• ASORC-Accredited Rehabilitation Counsellor (Associate or Full Member).
• 1 year of Workplace Rehabilitation experience is valuable; recent grads welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a caseload of injured workers and support return to work.
• Focus on quality and achieving outcomes in rehab plans.
• Conduct vocational assessments and counselling.
• Attend case conferences and liaise with stakeholders to facilitate RTW outcomes.
• Hybrid role with 50/50 clinical and workplace rehabilitation; train junior staff.

Our client is achieving great success in the Workplace Health & Rehabilitation space. Their innovative & welcoming team is growing – the opportunity for a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join the North Strathfield team is on offer.

The Role:

• Proactively manage a caseload of injured workers & support your clients in their return to work
• Focus on quality & achieving outcomes
• Vocational Assessments & Counselling
• Attend case conferences & liaise with stakeholders to facilitate RTW outcomes
• Hybrid role approximately 50/50 Clinical & Workplace Rehabilitation
• Perform counselling under this organisation's clinical arm (for RCs with SIRA eligibility)
• Build great relationships & generate repeat referrals
• Actively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Training & coaching of other team members, for Senior Consultants
