Big Umbrella is seeking a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our NSW client’s team. You’ll be Sydney based, working 3 days from home and 2 days from the Inner West office, visiting clients across your local region.

You will proactively manage a caseload of injured workers, provide vocational assessments and counselling, and liaise with insurers, employers and treating providers to facilitate return-to-work outcomes.

Qualificações

• ASORC-Accredited Rehabilitation Counsellor (Associate or Full Member) is required.
• 1 year of Workplace Rehabilitation experience is valuable.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively manage a caseload of injured workers and support return to work.
• Conduct vocational assessments and counselling as part of RTW plans.
• Attend case conferences and liaise with insurers, employers and treating providers.
• Focus on quality and outcomes with reasonable billable expectations.
• Deliver Telehealth services from home and visit clients across the local region.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team and train/coach other staff.

You’ll be Sydney based, working 3 days from home & 2 days from their Inner West office, & visiting clients across your local region.

The Role

• Proactively manage a caseload of injured workers & support your clients in their return to work


• Vocational assessments & counselling


• Attend case conferences & liaise with insurers, employers & treating providers to facilitate RTW outcomes


• Focus on quality & achieving outcomes, with reasonable billable expectations


• Visit clients across your local Sydney region & deliver Telehealth services from home


• Build great relationships & generate repeat referrals


• Actively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team environment


• Training & coaching of other team members, for experienced Consultants
