Sharp & Carter is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant in Canberra to support injured claimants in achieving safe, sustainable return-to-work outcomes. You will apply holistic rehabilitation strategies, coordinate services, and work with insurers, employers, and healthcare professionals to drive positive recovery journeys.

The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork, client-centred planning, and proactive early intervention within a supportive, award-winning environment.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification and current registration with a relevant professional body (Physiotherapy, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Rehabilitation Counselling)
• Full Australian working rights
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Managing cases and coordinating rehabilitation services
• Conducting worksite assessments and identifying return-to-work pathways aligned with recovery milestones
• Applying clinical expertise and injury management knowledge to perform assessments and facilitate client recovery
• Engaging with stakeholders such as insurance providers, medical practitioners, employers, and employees
• Developing personalised, whole-of-person rehabilitation plans
• Implementing effective early intervention strategies
• Presenting case information and credible recommendations to stakeholders to support positive outcomes
