Job summary

MedHealth is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) to join its multidisciplinary allied health team in Australia. The role involves initial assessments, RTW planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration across clients, insurers, and medical practitioners.

You will support clients to regain independence and achieve life and work goals, with professional development and leadership mentoring provided across 80 locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree qualification with full accreditation in OT, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, Osteopathy or Physiotherapy.
• Willingness to travel (own vehicle and driver's licence required).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Punctuality and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs to assist injured employees return to the workforce.
• Undertake assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments.
• Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes for all parties.
• Develop and implement strategies to progress files and achieve RTW benchmarks with minimum costs.
• Design, implement and monitor programs to help injured employees return to the workforce.
