Job summary

MedHealth in Australia is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy professionals. You will conduct initial assessments, identify RTW barriers and design programs to help injured employees return to work.

You’ll liaise with clients, insurers and medical practitioners, progress cases, and contribute to flexible, community-based and office-based work arrangements with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.
• Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is required).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service.
• A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce
• Undertaking assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
• Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
• Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
• Develop and implement strategies to progress files and achieve RTW benchmarks with minimum case costs
• Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
