WorkFocus Australia is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) to join our multidisciplinary allied health team. You will assess, design, and monitor return-to-work programs for injured employees.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree and full accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, Osteopathy or Physiotherapy.
• Willingness to travel with a current vehicle and driver's licence.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Keen punctuality and effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers; design/implement/monitor programs to assist injured employees return to work.
• Undertake assessments including daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment assessments.
• Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and liaise with clients, insurers and medical practitioners to achieve outcomes.
• Develop and implement strategies to progress files and achieve RTW benchmarks with minimal costs.
• Design, implement and monitor programs to help injured employees return to the workforce.
