Altius is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant/Occupational Therapist to support recovery and reintegration for people who have injury, illness or disability. You will develop personalised rehab plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate with clients, families, insurers and employers to achieve return-to-work goals.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA Registration as Occupational Therapist.
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current drivers' licence and access to own transport.
• Full Australian Working rights.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
• Complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
• Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones.
• Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
• Work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
• Present case information to various stakeholders and providing credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal.

Working from our as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.
