Job summary

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking Registered Nurses for Rehabilitation Inpatient roles at Modbury Hospital. These short-term contracts run through to 16 July 2027, with multiple positions available across Adelaide's northern suburbs.

Successful applicants will provide evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on recovery and independence while complying with SA Health standards and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Experience in an acute, rehabilitation or related inpatient nursing environment.
• Strong understanding of person-centred care and goal-directed rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with SA Health clinical documentation systems or willingness to learn quickly.
• Commitment to NALHN values of care, respect and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a busy rehabilitation inpatient setting.
• Support patients through recovery pathways focused on restoring function and independence.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handovers per SA Health policies.
• Contribute to a safe ward environment through infection control and patient safety protocols.
