Recovery Unit – Registered Nurse (RN1). Part‑time temporary 12‑month contract. Salary $77,824 – $106,187 p.a. (pro rata) + super + salary packaging.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Recovery Unit. In this fast‑paced, rewarding environment, you’ll deliver direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, working as part of a skilled multi‑disciplinary team focused on achieving the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care to post‑operative patients in the recovery unit.
  • Accountable for the quality of your own nursing practice and responsibly delegate tasks to other staff.
  • Support, assess, and guide other team members.
  • Maintain professional standards, comply with legislative responsibilities, and contribute to quality improvement principles in healthcare.
Qualifications
  • Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing Board of Australia, and evidence of completing a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide comprehensive nursing care within a multi‑disciplinary recovery setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of professional standards, legislative responsibilities, and quality improvement principles in healthcare.
