Job summary

Modbury Hospital, part of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, is seeking Registered Nurses for rehabilitation inpatient units on short-term contracts up to 16 July 2027. These roles offer exposure to multidisciplinary teams and a focus on restoring patient independence.

You will provide evidence-based nursing care, participate in care planning, and ensure accurate documentation in line with SA Health policies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in acute, rehabilitation or related inpatient settings.
• Understanding of person-centred care and goal-directed rehabilitation principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with SA Health clinical documentation systems.
• Eligible for Australian nursing registration and practicing certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a busy inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.
• Support recovery pathways to restore function and maximise independence.
• Document and handover in line with NALHN SA Health policies and standards.
• Contribute to a safe ward environment through infection control and patient safety实践.
