Qualifications

• Proven experience leading regulatory operations with a focus on compliance and enforcement.
• Strong ability to implement risk-based approaches across regulatory functions.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Regulatory Operations branch to deliver high performance and staff engagement.
• Oversee administration of the VEU program including accreditation, certificate registration and surrender, compliance, and enforcement functions.
• Embed risk-based approaches across regulatory processes and systems.
• Drive operational improvements to enhance efficiency, timeliness and effectiveness of regulatory processes.
• Provide strategic advice to the Executive Director and maintain relationships with government, industry and stakeholders.
