Job summary

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action VIC in Melbourne is seeking a Manager, Regulatory Intelligence to lead the regulatory intelligence function for Resources Victoria. You will provide strategic leadership, governance and insights to support risk-based regulation of Victoria’s earth resources sector.

You will manage a specialist team delivering timely intelligence products, systems and submissions to inform regulatory priorities and senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in intelligence analysis, information technology, political relations, public administration, or related field is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing intelligence functions, preferably within a regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated high-level analytical skills, including interpreting data into actionable intelligence for decision making.
• Experience providing authoritative, evidence-based briefs, reports and submissions to senior leaders.
