Job summary

The Department of Government Services in Melbourne seeks a Regulatory Manager to lead a team of Regulatory Advisers within Regulatory Transaction Services, overseeing licensing and registration work related to reforms to Retirement Villages and other Acts administered by CAV. You will report to the RTS Operations Manager and guide the team to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes.

• A degree or significant experience in business, accounting, auditing and/or law is highly desirable.
• Expertise in applying legislation and operational policy to complex service delivery scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Administer and provide specialist advice on licensing and registration matters.
• Lead and develop a team of Regulatory Advisers to deliver high-quality work.
• Prepare clear briefings, correspondence and advice on complex issues.
• Engage with multiple teams to improve service delivery and regulatory priorities.
• Represent the unit in committees and provide recommendations on emerging issues.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
• Provide accurate records management and support ad hoc process improvements.
