Job summary

Victorian Government is seeking an LDSO to provide administrative and operational support for licensing and determinations in Victoria. The role is based at 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work options.

It requires strong organisational skills, stakeholder engagement, and accuracy in regulatory processes. The role supports the processing of mineral, quarry and petroleum activity applications, with pre-employment screening and work rights checks part of the process.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage workload and meet deadlines, with sound organisational skills and the capacity to prioritise tasks under guidance while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative support, including managing workflows, processing applications or transactions, and maintaining accurate records in line with established procedures and standards.
• Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to follow guidance, apply established procedures, and build foundational knowledge of regulatory frameworks to support team outcomes and ongoing development.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage information across systems and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field would be well regarded.
