Job summary

Coast & Country Primary Care (CCPC) in Bathurst NSW is hiring Psychologists (Registered & Provisional). Full-time preferred with options for part-time, casual or sub-contractor arrangements.

Role focuses on Psychological Therapies for Underserviced Populations across Bathurst, Orange and surrounds. You will deliver evidence-based care to adults with moderate to severe mental health needs and engage in recovery-oriented practice.

Qualifications

• Accredited Psychology qualification and AHPRA registration (Provisional accepted).
• Current full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Experience as a Registered Psychologist across the lifespan.
• Experience with individuals with suicidal ideation and self-harm.
• Excellent communication with individuals, families and carers in distress.
• Eligible for Medicare Australia (Registered Psychologists).
• Commitment to recovery-oriented, strengths-based framework.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based psychological assessments, interventions and supports for adults with Level 2–4 mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans informed by formulation and recovery goals.
• Provide brief, structured psychological therapies using evidence-based modalities.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per requirements.
• Provide face-to-face therapy across clinic, outreach and hosted sites.
• Engage with consumers experiencing barriers to access and disadvantage.
