Job summary

Talent Quarter is partnering with a well-established Group Practice to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse for a permanent full-time role in Beverley, Western Australia. Join a large, supportive team of GPs, nurses and admin staff in a busy General Practice.

You will work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the wider clinic team to support excellent health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous General Practice / Practice Nursing experience.
• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Strong immunisation knowledge and experience.
• Experience with wound care, chronic disease management and health assessments.

Talent Quarter is proud to be partnering with a well-established Group Practice to find an experienced Practice Nurse to join their large, supportive team in Beverley on a permanent full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys working in a busy General Practice environment and is looking for the stability of a permanent, Monday-Friday position.

The Clinic

You’ll be joining a large and established Medical Centre with a genuinely supportive multidisciplinary team, including:

• 17 GPs(a mix of full-time and part-time doctors)
• 5 Practice Nurses
• An experienced Practice Manager
• Visiting Allied Health Specialists
• A supportive administration and reception team

With an established nursing team already in place, you’ll have plenty of support around you while working across a varied Practice Nursing workload.

The Role

This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As Practice Nurse, you’ll work closely with the GPs, nursing team and wider clinic staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Immunisations and vaccinations
• Wound care and dressings
• Chronic Disease Management and Care Plans
• Health assessments
• ECGs and spirometry
• Pathology collection
• Infection prevention and control
• Assisting GPs with procedures
• Patient education and preventative healthcare
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• General treatment room and Practice Nursing duties

About You

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys being part of a collaborative, patient-focused team.

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous General Practice / Practice Nursing experience
• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification
• Current National Police Check
• Current Working with Children Check
• Strong immunisation knowledge and experience
• Experience with wound care, chronic disease management and health assessments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A friendly, professional and patient-focused approach
• The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a larger clinical team
