St Vincent's Health Australia is offering a 0.8FTE permanent position in the St Raphael's Ward - Medical Unit at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba. This New Practitioner Program supports newly registered nurses with comprehensive orientation and mentorship.

Open to RNs with <12 months of acute care experience; includes a 11-month structured program, online learning, and clinical educator support. Rostering includes holidays and rotating shifts, fostering early professional growth.

About the role

If you are a Registered Nurse and have less than twelve (12) months experience in an acute healthcare facility, you have an excellent opportunity to join St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) ST RAPHAELS WARD - MEDICAL UNIT within our supportive New Practitioner Program.

0.8FTE permanent position within our medical department. 11-month supportive New Practitioner Program commences from your date of hire. Rostering includes public holidays, weekends, and rotating day/evening/night shifts.

An information session about the New Practitioner Program offered at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba will be held between 15:30-16:30hrs on Tuesday 8th September 2026 in the ACU Room within the Clinical School, L2 (Entrance 4). The Staff Learning & Development Manager and Clinical Nurse Educators responsible for the New Practitioner Program will be available to discuss the content of the programmes and answer any questions you may have.
