A comprehensive onboarding program and access to ongoing professional development are provided. The New Practitioner Program starts within 11 months of hire, with rotating day/evening/night shifts and clinical education support from Nurse Educators.

An Information Session about the New Practitioner Program offered at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba will be held between 1530 - 1630hrs on Tuesday 8th September 2026 in the ACU Room within the Clinical School, L2 (Entrance 4).
During this session, the Staff Learning & Development Manager and Clinical Nurse Educators responsible for the New Practitioner Program will be available to discuss the content of the programs as well as answer any questions you may have.
